Stephanie Sutherland
From Pine Bush, NY, Stephanie graduated from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. In addition to her work with YSDT, Stephanie has performed with the international tour of West Side Story, traveling throughout Italy, Lebanon, and Japan, with Flexicurve Dance under the direction of Pascal Rekeort in New York, and is a guest artist with Teresa Fellion/BodyStories Dance, performing in Scotland and NYC. She has also danced with Janice Lancaster in Asheville, NC, in numerous Bollywood films and commercials while living in Goa, India, and was a core member of the Brooklyn-based indie rock band, Jigsaw Soul. Stephanie is a certified Pilates Instructor, massage therapist, and Reiki practitioner and is proud to be a founding member of YSDT.
